plugins / packages

install a few packages,

markdown-writer remote-ftp

settings

configure real tabs Edit Preferences > Editor

uncheck soft tabs tabs lenght: 8 tabs type: hard

remote-ftp

setup the remote-ftp package,

Packages > Remote-FTP > Toggle Edit Configuration

use the official example.

note. if you are using password based auth, you need to add

"keyboardInteractive": true,
