Setting up printing (the cups flavor)

Install

either go for LPD or CUPS as follows

    apt install --reinstall cups cups-client
    apt install --reinstall ~n^system-config-printer

Canon specific

ln -s /opt/cel/bin/sicgsfilter /usr/local/bin/sicgsfilter

Usage

launch the setup helper and wizards

system-config-printer

look for on-going jobs from the command line

lpstat -R
lpstat -p

or from the Web UI

http://127.0.0.1:631/jobs/?
